About OrderPads

Introduction

The OrderPad family is our line of modern Android POS devices designed to run Handy, our mobile POS application. With sleek, professional hardware and a familiar Handy interface, OrderPad + Handy integrate seamlessly with Domino, our stationary POS platform, creating a complete ecosystem for both counter and mobile service.

Why Handy on OrderPad?

OrderPad with Handy extends the POS system beyond the checkout, letting staff take orders and access workflows directly at the table. The familiar Handy interface minimizes training time.

HandyPay on OrderPad

Until now, HandyPay (the ability to complete the payment on the POS device) has been available only on third-party hardware supplied by partners. In those setups, Trivec provided the software while the hardware came from external suppliers.

With the launch of OrderPad, Trivec now supplies its own dedicated hardware that is HandyPay compatible, ensuring:

  • A consistent hardware standard across sites
  • Easier support and deployment
  • Ability to complete the payment directly at the table, with optional on-device receipt printing
  • Continued use of third-party softpay solutions (Adyen, Westpay, etc.) where required, but without relying on them for the device itself

Stationary and mobile

With an optional cradle, OrderPad 8/11/14 & 10P can flexibly switch between a stationary POS terminal at the counter and a mobile device on the floor. This flexibility maximizes utilization—serving as a fixed checkout in peak hours and a mobile order-and-pay tool whenever mobility is needed.
