This article introduces the Timekeeper module in Domino and explains how to use it.
About Timekeeper
The Timekeeper module in Domino POS is a solution for tracking employee working hours, designed to meet the needs of businesses in the hospitality industry. It ensures accurate time recording for payroll, compliance, and staff management, simplifying administrative tasks and improving efficiency.
NOTE: Timekeeper Domino can not be used in Sweden since it doesn't comply to the legislative regulation.
Purpose
- Work Hours Management: Accurately records clock-ins, clock-outs, and break times for all staff members.
- Payroll Integration: Provides precise time data to streamline payroll processing and ensure fair compensation.
- Compliance Assurance: Helps businesses meet labour law requirements by maintaining detailed timekeeping records on the POS.
- Shift Oversight: Facilitates better management of staff shifts, ensuring proper coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
Key Features
- Clock-In and Clock-Out Functionality: Staff can easily log their working hours through a user-friendly interface on the POS.
- Break Management: Allows employees to log breaks, distinguishing between paid and unpaid time.
- Role-Based Access: Ensures that only authorized personnel can edit time records.
- Real-Time Monitoring: Managers can view active and inactive staff in real-time for efficient shift adjustments in the Backoffice or by printing a small report.

- Improved Efficiency: Reduces administrative workload by automating time tracking and reporting.
