This article explains how to create, edit and delete accounts in Domino. For an introduction into accounts and its functionality, check out Using accounts.
Creating a new Account
- Log in with your user and navigate to Customer page:
- Select + New Customer:
- To enable additional fields, select AddField:
- Enter the Guest information and select OK in the lower left corner:
NOTE: Enable VIP only if used. For more info, check out VIP - monetary value storage.
- Newly created account info is now displayed on the Customer page:
- To register a card linked to this account, swipe/tap the card in the reader (or scan a QR/barcode) and confirm with YES:
- A card is now registered to it. To unlink the card from the account, select the X symbol (and confirm with YES):
Updating account info
- Navigate to the Customer tab:
- Search for the account and select Activate Customer:
With the account activated, select Edit:
Emptying and deleting accounts
A VIP account value needs to be brought to zero before it can be deleted. In the case of VIP accounts with a positive value, it needs to be brought down to zero. In the case of VIP accounts with a negative value, it needs to be brought up to zero.

Emptying VIP accounts with pre-paid value
In order to empty an account, an Empty VIP account (CashOut) product needs to be used with an equal value to the value of the account. For example, if the value of a VIP account is 10 €, its value needs to be reduced by 10 € to be brought to zero.
In case the "VIP account correction" product is missing in Domino, please contact Trivec support for assistance.
- Navigate to Cash/Order in Domino, and select the product page where the VIP account correction can be found, most often "Other":
- Activate the account (Activating an Account).
- Select the VIP account correction product (keep in mind, the product may have a different name).
- Enter the amount to withdraw from the VIP account and select OK to confirm.
- Select Bill, and select the Paymode, you want to use for the withdrawal.
- The value of the VIP account has now been reduced with the selected amount.
Emptying VIP accounts with credit value (negative)
In the case of VIP accounts with negative value (credit), Load VIP Account (CashIn) product needs to be used to bring the value up to zero. To do that, use the load product in the same way value is added to a VIP account.
For example, if the VIP account value is -100 €, it has to be loaded with 100 € to bring the value to zero (Load value to a VIP account).
Deleting an account
Non-VIP, VIP, or Bar Tab accounts are deleted the same way. However, the value loaded on a a VIP account needs to be brought to zero before deleting it.
To delete an account:
- Navigate to the Customer tab:
- Search for the account and select Activate Customer:
- Select the Delete button in the lower right part of the screen to delete the account.
