Promos

About promos

Promos in Domino are the main method of applying discounts. Their main difference is their Type:

  • Discount percentage (the most common) applies a discount in a certain percentage (e.g., 10 %)
  • Discount price applies a discount for a certain amount (e.g., 10 €)
  • Fixed price modifies a price of product(s) to a set price (e.g. 1 €)

Visibility

Individual promos can be configured to be visible in the following ways:

  • Order menu only - promo applies to all products on order
  • Bill menu only - promo applies to all products on bill
  • Product menu (line) only - applies to single products only
  • All menus - all of the above.

User permissions

Promo permissions can be configured so that only groups of users have access to promos.

Promo applications

Promos can be configured to apply to certain product groups, e.g. Food, Alcohol Free or Everything via promo sets. Promo sets are also used to control the conditions in which the promo is applicable.
