Payconiq
Payconiq is a payment service that allows you to receive payments based on a QR code. Your customers scan this QR code using the Payconiq By Bancontact app or any other payment app that supports Payconiq, and confirm the amount to be paid.
Payconiq can be activated at Trivec in several ways:
Option 1: QR scanning on graphical customer display.
-
- In the till you indicate that the customers will pay via payconiq, the QR appears on the customer display, customer scans and pays.
- The display is attached to the cash register, so this option is mainly for counter sales (read: paying at the POS)
- Note: the customer display is attached by default at the back (180°) of the POS screen. So make sure the display is visible/accessible for the customers. A customer display on foot is also possible.
- Extra: The display can also be used for “marketing” purposes. E.g. activate carousel with photos/promos, ....
Operational: To activate this feature, Trivec operations must receive the “AccessToken” and “MerchantID” from Payconiq to set it up in the Domino POS.
Option 2: via CCV payment terminal
-
Option 2a: fixed terminal (A35 - former P400)
- The QR code is displayed on the payment terminal, customer scans and pays.
- Only if the payment terminal is linked to the Domino POS the payment information will be send to the cash register.
- Please note: you must activate the Payconiq function in the CCV contract.
-
Option 2b: via HandyPay (A77/A920)
- Ordering and withdrawing is done on the same mobile device (A77/A920)
- Only if the payment terminal is linked to the Domino POS the payment information will be send to the cash register.
- Please note: you must activate the Payconiq function in the CCV contract.
-
Option 2c: fixed terminal (A77/A920)
- The QR code is shown on the payment terminal, customer scans and pays.
- Only if the payment terminal is linked to the Domino POS the payment information will be send to the cash register.
Please note: you must activate the Payconiq function in the CCV contract.
Option 3: via fixed standard QR code
- We can also print a fixed standard QR code on each ticket.
- The customer must then enter the amount himself and there is no link with the cash register.
- In the cash register, the waiter must then manually select payment method 'Payconiq' and enter the amount.
Trivec recommends option 1 and/or option 2 for its customers – both options can be activated at the same time.
