  • If everything went well, "Association Successful "should be displayed.

You can actually get association successful even though there is no network cable connected to the cradle. Always check that cradle has an network cable connected to it.

  • Restart the device by holding the yellow (Clear) and the dot button on the keypad until it shuts down. Then hold the green (OK) button until it starts again.
  • If pairing with the docking station fails, "Association failure" will be displayed. In that case, disconnect the power and network cable from the docking station, wait 3 seconds, reconnect the cables, and try New base again.
  • If you are still getting the "Association failure" error, instead of New base, select Remove base and remove previous associations with OK until there are none left in Remove base menu and then try New base
  • Note: Terminal can be paired with the docking station successfully even if there is no network cable connected to it. If you are troubleshooting Conn.failure error, make sure network cable is connected to the docking station.
  • If device displays Conn.failure error even after you got AssociationSuccessful, follow the Configuring P@T server address in iWL250 guide.
