Inhouse ordering
- Customer is seated at the restaurant scans the QR code on the table.
- Customer uses Buddy to order products from the menu and complete the payment.
- Order is sent to preparation, and the receipt is printed on a POS printer.
- Staff brings the receipt and the ordered products to the customer.
Takeaway ordering
- Customer scans the QR code (e.g. on a flyer) or clicks the link to Buddy (e.g. on a restaurant website).
- Customer uses Buddy to order products from the menu, select pick-up time and complete the payment.
- Order is sent to preparation with the pick-up time specified, and the receipt is emailed to the customer.
- Customer arrives at the restaurant at pick-up time and receives the order and the receipt.
Mobile payment
- Customer is seated at the restaurant and is served the old-school way.
- Customer asks for a bill.
- Staff prints a pro-forma receipt with a QR code.
- Customer scans the QR code and completes the payment in Buddy.
Digital menu
- Customer is seated att the table and scans the QR code on the table.
- Customer views the menu on their mobile phone instead of the paper version.
