To start using Buddy, follow these steps:
- Contact our Sales to order Buddy.
- Configure payment provider in MyTrivec.
- Create table stands and QR-code material.
- With Trivec's help, configure how you want Buddy to work.
- Start using Buddy.
Order Buddy
To order Trivec Buddy, contact your Sales representative or our in-house Sales team and decide on your payment provider.
Once the order has been confirmed, Trivec will start setting up Trivec Buddy for your company.

Adyen

Creating Table stands and QR code material
To use Trivec Buddy, the guests need a QR code to scan at the table to start Buddy in the browser on their mobile device. A table can be preconfigured in the QR code the customers scan (unique QR code per table), or the customers can select the table themselves in the browser.
The majority of our customers use table-unique QR codes to eliminate the risk of a user selecting the wrong table number on their device.
You will need to print the actual stickers/flyers or other material to be available for the users. You could, for example, use a table stand that also includes a guide for the user on how to use Buddy. Configure Buddy visuals and settings
To configure the Buddy visuals,so that they match your brand's visual identity, you will need to provide the following information and files to Trivec representatives:
- Color Code (in HEX format)
- Logo - 120 x 120px - .JPG/.PNG
- Banner - 1140 x 690px - .JPG/.PNG
- Font - any font from the Google fonts library (excluding those available from external foundries) - https://fonts.google.com.
- Opening hours for Buddy.
Preliminary configuration is done by Trivec. After training, you will be able to manage your Buddy solution yourself.
