Managing tickets

This guide explains how to manage tickets. 

Ticket actions

  • Enter the Tickets tab (for info on how to enter the tickets tab, check out Reviewing tickets.
  • Ticket actions are displayed in the lower end of the screen:

  • Which ticket actions are displayed depends on system setup and user permissions. For example, in most cases only Restaurant managers and equivalent profiles are allowed to perform Cancellations. 
  • Common ticket actions are following:
    • Bill: enters the payment menu allowing you to close tickets. Only possible on tickets with status Open and R4P. 
    • Paymode: changes the paymode of closed tickets to a different paymode. 
    • Cancellation: creates a cancellation ticket with negative value and changes the status color of ticket from orange to grey. Not possible with tickets closed with payment terminals. Manager level permission required, only possible on tickets with status NS (closed). 
    • Re-open: re-opens tickets so further products and payments can be added to ticket. Not possible with tickets closed with payment terminals. Only possible on tickets with status NS (closed). 
    • Info: adds an info text to the ticket that will also be displayed on the receipt. 
    • Change user: changes the user the sales are registered on. Manager level permission required. 
    • All Users: toggles visibility of tickets assigned to other users. Manager level permission required. 
    • ... (three dots): Expands the menu to display additional options.
    • Print: prints the temporary ticket.
    • Unlock: unlocks tickets locked by other users.
