This guide explains how to work with addons.
Addon Pages are similar to Product Windows, except that when you add an addon, the addon is added to the main product as a sub-product (for more info on Product Windows, check out Product windows).
Accessing addon pages
Addon pages are located in the lower left window of the Backoffice / Sales / Product page.
- To display product windows, select Addon Page tab:
Creating new addon pages
- To create a new addon page, select the Add Addon Page symbol:
- New Addon Page menu will be displayed:
- Following settings can be configured:
- PageNr - Determines the order in which addon pages are displayed, the higher the number, the lower on the list the window will be. This only affects the Addon Page order in the Backoffice.
- Name - Name of the addon page.
- Info - Additional info displayed in the Info column
- Auto Close Addon
- Auto - Only works with 1 addon configured in Max Count.
- On - Closes the addon page when number of addons configured in Max Count is reached.
- Off - Doesn't close the page automatically, user needs to select OK to close the addon page.
- Color - configures the addon page icon color.
- Free choice - Determines if addon is compuslory.
- Max Count - Determines maximum number of addons that can be added.
- Multi Select - Determines if different addons can be added.
- Zero price
- Never - Addons with a price will always be charged
- Always - Addons with a price will always be free of charge
- in addons - Addons with a price will be free of charge if used as an addon (but not in a menu)
- in menu - Addons with a price will be free of charge if used in a menu (but not as an addon)
- InApp - enables addon page in apps (such as Buddy or Karma)
- InCash - enables addon page in Cash mode
- InKiosk - enables addon page in Kiosk mode
Editing addon page properties
- To edit addon page properties, select an addon page on the list and select the Edit addon page symbol:
- Edit Addon page properties menu is divided into tabs:
- Properties - Standard addon page properties, same as in Creating new addon pages.
- Background - Configures the background of the addon page.
- Translations - Translates the button in an another language (used together with User language).
Deleting addon pages
Addon pages are deleted the same way product pages are, check out Managing Product Pages.
Displaying the contents of an addon page
- Select the Designer link to display the content of the addon page:
- Addon page has now opened in as a new tab in the page window - notice the (a) in the tab that indicates "addon page":
Adding products to addon pages
- To add products to the addon page, left-click a product, drag and release it inside the addon page grid:
- Product is now added to the addon page:
- If you want to, you can select Preview to see how the addon page will be displayed in the Sales mode:
Adding an addon page to a product page
- To add an addon page to the product page, select it on the list, drag and drop it on the product page:
- Addon page has now been added to the product page. Select Preview to see how the product page will look like in the Sales mode:
- Notice the "A" in the upper right corner of the icon, indicating that it is an addon page:
Removing addon pages from product pages
Addon pages are removed from product pages like any other product icon.
- To remove an addon page from a product page, select its icon and select Delete:
